Infographics for Active Withernsea.
‘Active Withernsea’ is one of 12 pilots across the UK, funded by Sport England, to test new approaches to creating active lives. We helped them visualise their progress so far through bold infographics and creative data visualisation.
What we did: GRAPHIC DESIGN / CREATIVE DIRECTION
At the heart of Active Withernsea’s work is the drive to understand what creates happy and healthy communities. The Sport England funded pilot puts people and their ideas at the centre of a bold new approach to unlock unexplored ways for everyone to enjoy a more active life, regardless of ability or background.
To secure funding from Sport England to continue their work, Active Withernsea needed to create a ‘deepening report’ that highlighted the impact and positive changes they’d made so far. They approached us to help them showcase this impact in a visual way, so that the data could be more easily understood.
We transformed reams of information and statistics into more easily digestible nuggets, helping to create a document that was easier to read, more engaging and more effective in highlighting the successes of the ‘Active Withernsea’ pilot. By using a combination of fun imagery, creative layouts and playful placement, we were able to create infographics that were shouting to be looked at. ‘Ordinary’ just wouldn’t do!
